Hello! Come on in and take a little look around
So your budding young reader has just finished reading every book in the house, and you’re going to brave a trip to the library, but you don’t want to come home with any unsuitable books for your precious charge. But you also don’t want to spend hours reading the back of every book they pick out. Well I’ve got you covered, at least for a little while hopefully with these book ideas.
I’ve got three categories going right now, 7-10, 11-14 and Read alouds that can be read to younger children. These are just rough indicators for you, your child may be more advanced and able to read older books, or aren’t quite ready for some yet, you know your children. Please note that these blurbs do contain key plot points to help you choose the best book for your young’un so please don’t let the intended reader see this list. Happy Hunting!
I’m starting a new age range! My friend and I have been exploring the YA sections, hunting out good books. This will be aimed at 15+ but again if you think the books are ok for your children go ahead!
